A Guide from MC Customer Support

Answers to Your Questions

Question I changed the borrower's name in Loan Servicing Field 3 of the Master Record, but the old name still appears on printed reports.
Answer The borrower's name is stored in two places in the Master Record. Field 3 is the full name which is printed on coupons, etc. Field 37 is a Short Name consisting of the first initial, middle initial and 10 characters of the last name. The short name is printed on reports due to space limitations. If you change the borrower's name in Field 3, then you must also change their name in Field 37.
Question I processed the escrow analysis and needed to reprint coupons for a borrower. Only 8 of the 12 coupons printed.
Answer

By processing the Coupon Exception Report (03.17.01.04), you'll find out why the remaining four coupons did not print. In the above case, the loan being an ARM loan will only print up to the adjustment date in Field 54 of the Master Record. The adjustment date in Field 54 was only eight months into the coupon cycle.

Once the ARM adjustment payment (date in Field 54) has been made, the loan will automatically be entered into the coupon queue to print the remaining four coupons.
